OK DX Contest 2008
It´s done!
I looked forward for this contest very much. One of the reason was my unsuccessful participation during CQ WW DX SSB. Due to business reasons I was able to be on air only during the Saturday.
Moreover I instigated my father OK2BPU to participate as well. As I know he participated in OK DX contest for the last time twenty years ago.
Contest preparations were done as usually on Friday before the contest. When everything seemed to be OK I was received SMS from father: last update of N1MM logger doesn´t work properly !!! So the fast downgrade to version 7.3.0 succeeded immediatelly.
Contest run over without problems except my sleep crisis around 5 A.M. (as usually). Probably right choosen tactics of band changes good propagations and better SO2R skills helped me to achieve my best historical result in OK DX Contest.
Claimed score:
